When ASRock debuted its Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards, the Phantom Gaming brand was conspicuously absent—you had cards from the Taichi, Steel Legend, and Challenger brands, but not Phantom Gaming. It looks like ASRock is close to fixing this. At Computex 2026, the company showcased a build with a "prototype" graphics card that very clearly has Phantom Gaming branding. This card is very different in design to the Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming series from the previous generation. For one, it features a 12V-2x6 power input, and not the triple 8-pin setup.

The cooler shroud has a significantly updated design, with elements and motifs from the company's latest Phantom Gaming motherboards based on Intel 800-series and AMD 800-series chipsets. An ARGB LED diffuser runs along the edge of the cooler shroud, while two metal streaks cross the central fan frame. The three fans ventilate a dual aluminium fin-stack heatsink. Cutouts in the backplate push out most of the airflow from the third fan.
