Noctua in its 2026 Computex booth showed off the NT-CP1, a carbon nanotube-based thermal pad invented and manufactured by Carbice, which the latter sells as the Carbice IP90 Nanopad. These thermal pads provide a superior alternative to thermal pastes, and offer practically infinite service life. Carbice and Noctua have formed a strategic partnership to bring vertically-aligned carbon nanotube thermal pads to the DIY PC market. Unlike traditional thermal pastes that degrade, Carbice pads improve over time, ensuring long-term, maintenance-free cooling. Noctua will exclusively distribute these pads, starting with an AMD Ryzen version in September 2026. Noctua also extensively tested the the IP90 on its cooling solutions, and posted its own performance figures.

The company also showed off its prototype small form-factor top-flow CPU cooler for AMD Socket AM5. A variation on the NH-L12 series, the cooler is 70 mm in height, including its fan.
